Triangle Land Conservancy
Since 1987, the Triangle Land Conservancy has been active saving unique lands throughout the Triangle. With its first acquisition of 136 acres at the confluence of the Deep and Rocky rivers in Chatham County — which would become the now 270-acre White Pines Nature Preserve — the TLC has since preserved more than 15,000 acres in the six-county region.
Eight of those properties are open to the public, offering a range of adventure opportunities. Click on each for more information.
