We would like a place to rent kayaks, in calm water and we have kids ages 7-10. Suggestions?

Triangle Glides, in Raleigh, offers stand up paddleboarding lessons on local lakes and is an authorized dealer of stand up paddleboarding equipment. We are also a Trikke retailer. All are great ways to stay fit on and off the water! Check us out in downtown Raleigh (321 S Blount St), or visit us online!

A nice daytrip is to Edenton NC. The town rents kayaks for $5.00 an hour per person in the town park pffoce on the waterfront and there are five well-mapped paddling trails. If you stay back up in the creeks and go out early the creeks are serene. The Neuse River paddles are fun too, but the river tends to be fast-paced and shallow. Try Paddle Creek on Capitol Blvd.in Raleigh for group excursions.
