Having recently purchased a Class C motorhome, two weekends ago my girlfriend and I stayed at Fries New River RV Park in Fries, VA. The campground is about 800 feet from one of the New River Trail’s access points. Enjoyed a lovely 36-mile ride from Fries to Galax and back. Going back this weekend to make the Fries to Ivanhoe out-and-back ride. A really lovely area…

A classic case of the pictures not doing the trail justice, but you obviously get the general idea. Again, well worth the drive.
