I camped at Deep Gap a couple years ago, latter found out the area had just reopened after being closed for excessive bear activity. That&#039;s one wild hike!]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[We hiked from the Mt. Mitchell parking lot to Deep Gap and back, so Potato Hill was my last SB6K.  As we sat at Deep Gap eating lunch we heard the first rumblings and we got drenched on the way back, but not for too long.]]></description>
