In reply to Anne. Unfortunately, we do not receive alerts on trail closings and the sheer number of trails we report on makes it impossible for us to do timely updates. Especially in cases of dated posts (this one was from five years ago), we recommend that you call the listed contact or visit the listed website for updates.

You left out the rest of the trail. The total trail is 21.5 miles.

Drove from New Bern to Swansboro on Sat. 11/22……….This trail is closed, barricaded, no explanation as to why or for how long.
VERY inconvenient. Please post when trails are not open and save us gas money.
