Welcome to our Spring Hike Series, a great way for active hikers to stay active during the cold, and a great time for newcomers to start hiking and launch a more active lifestyle. Our Spring Hike Series visits eight trails in the Triangle to sample some of the best hiking around.
What: Eight Sunday afternoon hikes on trails throughout the Triangle. This series is intended for already active hikers who want to maintain their activity level and discover new trails. Distances range from 4.2 miles (first hike) to 8.2 miles (last hike).
When: Sundays beginning March 8 and ending April 26. All hikes start at 1 p.m..

April 5 New! Mountains-to-Sea Trail at Falls Lake: Section P, Durham, 6 miles.
April 12 New route! Duke Forest, Korstian Division (Gate 25) Durham, 6.5 miles.
April 19 New! Schenck Forest / Umstead State Park, Raleigh, 6.5 miles.
April 26 Mountains-to-Sea Trail, Sections Q, R, S, Durham, 8 miles.
