Monday — never an easy time for the outdoors enthusiast. After a weekend of adventure, returning to the humdrum work-a-day world can make one melancholy. So many new places to explore, so little time to revisit the places we’ve explored in the past.
Mount Rogers (the Mount Rogers National Recreation Area and Grayson Highlands State Park) is one of those places you just can’t get to often enough. It’s been on the list for a return visit for well over a year — and there it remains, on a list.
