Hello, March and the beginning of spring! That would be the “in-like-a-lion” part of the season.
And this weekend’s lionlike forecast?
Well, some of it could be nice. Then again, it could be cloudy at times. And maybe rainy. And perhaps with storms of Oz-like dimensions. In short, it’s a weekend to play it by ear. Some thoughts on that:

The Pandemic has brought us closer to those who live with us.
Maybe even too close.
We know you all love each other. We know you would move heaven and earth to ensure each other’s health and happiness.
We also know that being in in close quarters 24/7 for more than a year adds up to a lot of togetherness. And you never noticed until now how your loved one could Breathe. So. Loudly.
Another sign of the improving times: ranger/naturalist-led programs at North Carolina State Parks are beginning to pick up. Saturday, there are three guided hikes at N.C. State Parks, Sunday, there’s one more. Next weekend, nine events are scheduled — so far.
